Ronald J. Fields, the Primetime Emmy Award winning writer/producer, playwright, NY Times best selling author, and movie script doctor will be on hand to sign copies of his updated (and now in paperback) biography
“W.C. Fields By Himself” on the legendary comedian/actor,
who was also his grandfather.
Ronald considers the book to be W.C. Fields’ intended autobiography with hitherto unpublished letters, notes, scripts and articles.

The Academy of Magical Arts is hosting a very special event on September 19th, 2015.
This year marks the "100th Anniversary" of the release of Fields’ movie “Pool Sharks”.
They will be showing this film, as well as, clips from other movies where their Grandfather
used the pool table that is on loan from the family at The Magic Castle. The event will
conclude with a Q&A hosted by Ron and Allen Fields, two of W.C. Fields' grandsons.
Guests attending this event will stay afterward to explore the rest of the Magic Castle
and potentially see the first-come, first-seated shows that we have to offer that evening.
Turner Classic Movies Celebrates the Centenary - Sept.04.2015
In loving recognition, TCM celebrates the centenary of the movie career of the great W.C. Fields (1880-1946), who began making film shorts in 1915 in New York. Through the next 30 years and some 40 films, Fields established himself as one of the outstanding comics of the 20th century. Fields' granddaughter, Dr. Harriet Fields, joins Ben Mankiewicz in co-hosting the evening of Fields' films.
